Today was our first real hint of winter. We got a tiny bit of snow that hung around for a couple hours. It’s a start.
It’s not much, but it’s a start.
Not dandruff, snowflakes.
Then, tonight, well actually at 4:00 this afternoon, we saw a wonderful Christmas concert at the big church in town.
Old stadiums in the U.S. used to have pillars that obstructed a fan or two’s view of the game. In this church more than half the people have their view blocked by those massive pillars. At least it did not block the sound, which was beautiful.
(My phone camera must have an automatic fuzzy mode in low light levels.)
The sound, however, was crystal clear. Today is also the 4th Sunday of Advent. The 23rd is Little Christmas Eve, which is another excuse for a get together with food and company and the 24th is actually when Christmas is celebrated here.
We are hoping for snow but need to hope harder.
